Book General Train Ticket Using UTS Mobile App

An Un-Reserved Ticket through UTS Mobile Application has been started by CRIS. This app is available free of cost for Android & Windows mobile phones.These tickets bookings are only allowed in smartphones with GPS option.user can track their previous bookings and journey details in desktops also at UTR FOR DESKTOP.

Unreserved Ticket Booking Available in two modes,
       1.Paper Ticket.
       2.Paperless Ticket.
Users can book different types of tickets by using this mobile application.

• Platform tickets
• Normal Tickets
• Season Tickets

Paper Ticket: The passenger can book a paper ticket through this mobile application. While booking a ticket, the user will get Booking ID along with journey details.passangers should take ticket print out at the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (ATVM) using the booking ID.this ATVM machines are available at most of the railway stations.

Paperless Ticket: The passenger can book a paperless ticket through mobile application and ticket will be available in the UTS mobile app itself. The passenger can travel without taking a hard copy of the ticket. However, the Paperless ticket option is still available in Chennai suburban area and  Mumbai suburban of Western Railway only. To have a paperless ticket, the Smartphone should be GPS enabled.
