Most fo the people are not aware that we can get the refund on general counter tickets.Indian railways accept general tickets to cancel at station counter.Clerk charge will be deducted from the cost of a ticket, and the remaining amount will be returned.Approximate clerk fee will be Rs.10 to Rs.20 on a ticket.
General Ticket Refund Rules
(i) A ticket should be returned within 3 hours of train departure time from the station.(ii) The ticket should not be used anymore
(iii) Money will be refunded on the same station where you bought a ticket.
