Pune has clear playoff chances as it continues in 4th position in the points table and Gujarat is fighting for the playoff chances. Gujarat has big hitters like McCallum, finch, Raina and new young talent Kishan but struggling with bowling selection. Raina has not yet matured in his team selection it seems and trying to run with big batting lineup. Thipati: Most cosistent batsman for Pune and handy in bowling if required. reliable batsman but not yet done the ton.Rahane: able to make the bigscore and he can hit like anything if he cross the 50.
Smith: world's one of the best batsman struggling to swing the bat to make the big score as another australian batsman Warner has done his record ton in the last IPL match. but no doubt can hit better than any other australian batsman.
Manoj Tiwary: India's talented player has not got much opportunity to bat in the 4th postion as Dhoni comes before him.
Dhoni: he played well in the one match which was in his style but he was failed in the most of the matches.
Ferguson: got the opportunity to play in the last match and proved himself. lookmlike in good swing.
Tahir: World No1 bowler has backed in the wickets hunt but handy for the team. team still depend on him.
Christian: Pune's allrounder has not got much opportunities to show his talent with bat fully.
Gujarat Lions:
Mc Cullam; the destructor was batted well in few matches but team was not won those matches. No consistency in the batting but anytime can destruct with bat.Raina: best t20 player for india for some time but time has changed and it's time to prove himself like Gambir. doing decent in the gujarat team but lack of captain knowledge make hin in pressure.
Aron Finch: even Finch don't know when he can play and fantasy cricket players may hope for play this time .he will play if his kit arrives(lol).
Jadeja: the bowling machine is not running good currently, just average performance.
Tye: He is giving the best to team and very good choice as per his form.
Thampi:Desi bowler has good skills, just he need some guidance.
