SBI to Hire Lesser Staff in This Year Due to Merger With Associate Banks

HIGHLIGHTS
-SBI will hire a very lesser number of employees in this financial year.
-On the clerical side, there will not be any recruitments.
-SBI has entered into the EC world's 50 top banks.

Mumbai: Bad news for the bank job seekers. State Bank of India has indicated that it will recruit a very lesser number of employees in this fiscal year 2017-18 as the bank has been running over staff from associate banks.

SBI's associate banks State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Patiala are merged in April with their flagship company. After with this big merge, the State Bank of India has entered into the elite club of world's 50 top banks.
