Check Senior Citizen Quota Ticket Availability in IRCTC

Indian Railway is providing special quota tickets and price concession for senior citizens.Male passengers age should be 60 or above, and they will get 40% concession on the ticket.Female passengers should be 58 or above, and they will get 50% concession on the ticket.But they should carry any one of their age proof.If any passenger travels with senior citizen concession ticket without having any valid age proof, their ticket will be invalid.

Check Ticket Availability for Senior Citizen

• Log in to your IRCTC account.Create a new account if you do not have yet.

• Choose From Station and To Station from Plan My Journey section along with travel date.

• Select Ticket type as  E-Ticket only.Ticket concession is not applicable for Tatkal quota ticket.Then click on submit button.

• Select the train and coach you would like to travel and check ticket availability.proceed to book a ticket even it showing waitlist or RAC tickets.

• In next page enter all your details with checking senior citizen checkbox and proceed to next page with clicking on confirm button.

• Journey details will be shown on this page along with ticket availability status for senior citizens at availability details grid.As shown in below image.
