As per Hindu mythology, God appears in different avatar to save the good people or to fulfill their wishes. Jamalapuram Venkateswara is also one of such kind temple. People calls this temple as the second Tirupati in Telangana.As per devote believe, Lord Venkateswara stayed here sometimes along with his wife, Goddess Lakshmi. This temple is located in Khammam district Telangana.

Background of the temple is, Jabali Maharshi is a guru of Lord Sri Rama and pilgrim. One day, he came to Jamalapuram and attracted by the beauty of nature.So he stayed and did penance for Lord on Soochi Giri Hill.One fine day Lord Vishnu stood before his eye and blessed him.As monk desired, Lord becomes an idol in his inn in the form of Sri Venkateswara's avatar.

After a long time, the person called Yagnanarayana Sharma took rest here while his journey to Kashi and felt an unknown feeling. He noticed that he dreamed these hill and trees every night. Yagnanarayana felt, he has some relationship with this place and decide to be live for some time. Lord Venkateswara has come as a boy and played with cattlemen daily.If anybody asks his name and place, the boy used reply as your name is my name and your place is my place. Yagnanarayana Sharma was heard about that kid, and he reached the top of the hill to know about him.There he found Lord Venkateswara idol and writings on the rock.

devotees firmly believe that here Lord worship will give good health and wealth.that is why people used to give the first crop to the God from their fields and gardens.in this temple, there is a separate collecting counter to take crops which are presented by the devotees.

There are two ways to reach Jamalapuram, Yerrupalem Mandal, Khammam.This temple is situated 80 KM away from Khammam, and 60 KM from Vijayawada.there is a bus facility from Madhira, Vijayawada, Thiruvuru, Ibrahim Patnam bus depots.pilgrims can reach Yerrupalem Railway station by Secunderabad-Vijayawada trains.

Srinivasa Giri Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple is very famous and Powerful temple in Khammam District. This temple was constructed during the times of Kakathiya kingdom.Srinivasa Giri Temple built on the hills at Srinivasa Puram aka Srinivasa Colony, Dhammapet X roads, Palvancha, Khammam district(currently in Badhradri district) and exactly 5 km away from Palvancha bus stand.

Here, the only way to reach the temple by the steps there is a steps way (nearly 500 steps)to reach temple which is located on top of the hill. This temple will be opened only on every Saturdays and every year in July, the temple committee will conduct Srinivasa Kalyana Mahostavam.

In olden days, there is no power supply and footpath way to reach the temple.This hill was completely covered by trees and rocks. Later villagers identified this temple and formed a temple committee to develop temple.Students are like to visit this temple as they like an adventure. There is a tradition to be attended by Badhradri constituency MLA every year for Srinivasa Kalyanostam.

Peddamma Talli temple is located on the way of Khammam to Badhrachalam and the exactly situated in Jagannada Puram village,palvancha Mandal, kothagudem district, Telangana state.this is a very famous temple in palvancha.People come across from the Khammam district to get darshan of goddess Kanaka Durga (Peddamma Talli).The temple exactly located 4.5 km away from palvancha bus stand.This temple situated beside NH 221 main road.Recently government also recognized this temple and arranged local bus facility.

long ago, this is a thick forest area with wild animals.as stories say, one tiger lives here under the Tamarindus tree.even people used to walk via that way, but it won't hurts or kill anyone.villages were considered that tiger as goddess Peddamma Talli and they constructed a small temple with placing her idol inside.day by day temple was developed and became as a village goddess.

  • there is local city bus service between Temple to kothagudem bus stand.Also, other TSRTC/APSRTC bus services are available up to the temple.Auto service is also available.
  • There is a facility to take a ticket for Archana and other pujas.special darshan ticket will be avail in festival days
  • there are many rooms and function halls are available around this temple.Also, there is a facility for First Rice ceremony, ear piercing, pujas, and tickets, etc. inside the temple.
  • Temple will be opened at 6 am and closed at 08:00 pm every day.
  • There is a tradition here is animal sacrifices, villagers strongly believe that giving animal sacrifices will be the better worship of the goddess.200 ft away there is an animal sacrifices place.
  • opposite to the temple, we can find kids park and Kalyana Katta for head shave.
