Any casuals or formals are fine but you find most of the people in traditional wear ( men in dothis and women in sarees).
Men should wear dhoti, or pajamas, formal dresses like Shirt and Pants are also allowed for women the dress code is saree ,l half saree with blouse, chudiar. This rule is applicable for foreigners also.
Shorts, mini-skirts, middies, sleeveless tops, low-waist jeans and short-length T-shirts are not allowed, with these dress, you will not be allowed inside the temple.
Note: Don't try to wear hip-hop t-shirts caps jewelery accessories coz you look dumb to those people around

There are different types of Darshans available in Tirumala Tirupati.devotee can get quick and comfort darshan if they know available various darshans in Tirumala.

Sarva Darshan
There is free darshan in Tirumala called Sarva darshan.It takes more time to get darshan of Lord Balaji. This is not a running queue.Devotees need to wait in vaikuntam-2 for some time.
Divya Darshan
this darshan is only for devotees who reach Tirumala by steps.there are two footpath ways to reach Tirumala.
  • Allipiri footpath way 
  • Sri Vaari Steps
Seeghra Darshan
devotees can book special darshan tickets  TTD online portal.cost of this ticket will be Rs.300.while booking a ticket, It will ask to choose a time slot.devotees should report on or before their time slot.
Senior Citizens and Handicapped Darshan
This special darshan is only for senior citizens and physically disabled devotees.Senior citizens age should be 65 or above.Age proof is required for senior citizens.Disabled people also should carry a medical certificate for their disability.
Infant Darshan
parents who have a child below one-year-old, Those people are allowed for this darshan.this is free darshan for both infant and his/her parents.
VIP break Darshan
there is a special break darshan for VIPs.this darshan will be available in morning break times.central, state ministers, MLAs, MLCs, business magnets and TTD employees are only allowed for this darshan.devotees are also allowed for break darshan who have VIPs or Higher officials recommendation letters.
Mahadhwara  Darshan
country President, Prime minister, chief ministers, other country presidents, are only permitted to enter through mahadhwaram in the temple.

It is not so easy to book a room in Tirumala Tirupati.mostly in the festival and special Seva times; All the rooms filled before two months itself.So at that times, the only option is taking a luggage locker.pilgrim can deposit all their belonging and luggage safely in lockers.These amenities buildings are call as  PAC (pilgrim amenities center). There are two PAC's are there in Tirumala.


 PAC-I situated beside Central reception office (C.R.O) Tirumala.Also, PAC-II  located on the way to NGC cottage road.pilgrims are not allowed to carry any electronic gadgets in temple premises.they can place any authorized materials and electronic devices such as cameras and mobiles phones, etc. in lockers.pilgrims can lock allocated locker with their lock.Pilgrim can do bath and fresh-up activities at any PAC, Tirumala.

Important Notes For Pilgrims 
  • Pilgrims should pay Rs.500 as a deposit for taking locker at any PAC, Tirumala.depost money will be refunded back once you give back locker keys back.
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the temple.Pilgrims can use their locker to keep any electronic devices.
  • Few other facilities are also available at PACs.devotees hair offer can also be done here.Also, can take a bath and other fresh-up Activities.
  • Lockers are allocated at only PAC only.Not available in online or any third parties.

Most of the devotees and pilgrims aren't aware of Angapradikshina availability in Tirumala.Angapradikshina tickets will be distributed every day at1 Pm except on Thursdays.this seva not available on Fridays. Both Male and Female devotees can do Angapradikshina in Tirumala.

Important Notes For Angapradikshina in Tirumala

  • Angrapradakshina tickets are distributed with free of cost.tickets are limited to 750 per day.
  • Angapradakshina ticket will be given before one day only
  • Both male and female devotees should take a dip in the pond and stand in a queue with wearing wet clothes.
  • The queue will start from morning 1 Am and Angapradakshina will start approx 3:30 Am.
  • One laddu token will be distributed to the devotees who went for Angapradakshina.Aadhaar is necessary to get laddu token.
  • The devotee will get special darshan After completing their Angapradakshina.
  • Devotees should wear a traditional dress only.men can wear paijama, dhoti or Pancha and women can wear saree, Punjabi dress or any ethnic wear.

Types of Rooms And Cost

Pilgrim can book a room before 60 days from required date.if you have already an account in TTD Online Seva, log in with your mail Id and password.if you don't have an account then just register with your details using any one of your identity cards.

There are different rooms with different cost like Rs.50,100,500,600,1500.all the rooms are non-Ac only except Rs.1500 Rooms(in fact there is no need of Ac in Tirumala).regaurdless of cost there are only 2 beds available in every room.The minimum number of persons should be more than one and maximum should be 6 per each room.

How To extend Stay In Tirumala Room

Due to Heavy Crowd in Tirumala, TTD allows any pilgrim to book a room for only 24 hours.if anyone needs to extend their room validity then they can stay for next day with paying additional day charge at that time of vacating.if anyone stayed more than 2 days they should pay extra 100% as fine.

Senior Citizens and physically Disabled devotees have an exclusive darshan option in tirumala.they can avail this entrance free of cost only.All they need to do is carrying their age proof, or government issued disability certificate.there is no need for any advance booking.they can go by this darshan directly with showing their proofs at the Supadham entrance which is near to the Nambi temple.This darshan available every day in two schedules.one is 8 AM to 1 PM, and another one is  10 AM to 3 PM except in exceptional Seva times in Tirumala.

Special Darshan  Process for Senior Citizen and Physically Disabled

  • Senior Citizen's age should be 65 above to avail this darshan.
  • Government issues Identity proof is mandatory for senior citizens and physically challenges.
  • If the husband is a senior citizen, then his wife also can go for darshan along with him.
  • Darshan entrance is at Supadham situated near Tirumala Nambi temple.
  • Relatives or friends are allowed to the queue with privileges other than his wife.
  • There is no charge/ticket to avail this darshan.This entrance is free of cost.
  • This darshan is available only four times per year to the person.that means only once in a quarter.
  • Supadham queue line has a limitation.Maximum 1400 devotees are only allowed per day.
  • Children who are under 12 years old, will be allowed to the darshan along with privileges.
  • On every Friday, this darshan is available in the afternoon only, i.e., 3 PM only.

Most of the people are not aware of Ananthalwar, and his crowbar history.he is a devotee of Lord Sri Venkateswara.inTirumala we can see his crowbar at the entrance of the temple. That crowbar has a great history.


Ananthalwar Gaddapara History

As stories say, Ananthalwar was a great devotee of Lord Sri Venkateswara.everyday he does flower service to the Lord.One day he decided to grow a flower garden on Tirumala hills near to the temple.Ananthalwar took a vow to complete this work by would be done by him and his wife only.

He began digging the water well.Lord decided to help them after Watching their hard work and decent behavior.So he appears as a boy and starts helping his wife to throw mud outside.By seeing this, Ananthalwar got angry and throws his crowbar to the kid.that crowbar hits that boy's chinchin.Then boy disappears from there.

after finishing the garden work, Ananthlwar went to the temple to offer worship.there he noticed that Lord idol chin got hurt and bleeding continuously.then Ananthalwar got realized that boy is a Lord  Venkateswara and he immediately rubs with camphor to stop bleeding.
We can see this original crowbar at the temple entrance.

Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) Newly Introduced Special Darshan for parents who came along with their below the 1-year-old child.
This is the separate queue line without any push pulls between devotees. This darshan will be available between 08:30 am to 10:00 am and 12:00 pm to 06:00 pm only and also this darshan not available during any Seva time(like Kalyanostavam, Deepalankarana Seva).this darshan available at Supadham entrance.This darshan is completely free for the child and his/her parents.

  • Parents should carry any of one government issue identity card or any birth proof of child to confirm their age.
  • Parents only allowed along with the child.Other than parents like Relatives or guardians are not allowed for this darshan.
  • Child siblings like own brothers or own sisters are allowed for darshan along with parents.
  • There is no ticket required to avail this darshan.this is free of cost for child and infant parents.
  • Special entry darshan for a 1-year-old child is called as infant darshan.This darshan will be avail at the supadham entrance. 
  • supadham entrance is nearly 100-150 feets ways from vaikuntam queue complex.
  • there is no waiting time in the compartment for infant darshan through supadham.
  • dress code is compulsory.for men Pancha/dhoti/kurta-pajama are allowed.for women, saree/half saree/Panjabi dress are allowed

Bangaru Bhavi (Golden Well)

this is the oldest well which is coated with gold.this water only used for lord Venkateswara abhishekam.this well was dug at the time of king Sri Krishnadevaraya.

Vaikunta Vakili

here we can find lord Vishnu reposing on Adhishesa it is situated next to the Ananda Nilayam.this is the place where lord used get relax.

Ananda Nilayam

we can see Ananda Nilayam at the entrance of BangaruVakili (Golden Gateway).we see here goddess Lakshmi, Vinayaka, Surya Bhagavan and Vimana Venkateswara idols on the top of Ananda Nilayam.

Parakamani

Tirumala Balaji will get lakhs of offered money from devotees.those money will be count here.there are two rooms here.one is Coin Parakamani which is used to count coins here and another one is Notes Parakamani to count notes.

Temple First Pillar

At the time of Sri Krishna deva Raya kingdom, he constructed Tirumala Tirupathi temple.here we can see the first pillar of the temple.devotees believe that doing 3 Pradhakshana will give moksha in your life.

Vimana Venkateswara Swami

On the top of Ananda Nilayam which is coated with gold, we can see there Vimana Venkateswara in highlighted silver frame.as stories say, every day all the gods and goddess comes for darshan of Venkateswara.but from early morning itself he is busy with his pilgrims.so as per goddess request he stayed as Vimana Venkateswara at the top of Ananda Nilaya.

Sarva Darshan 

this is free darshan for everyone.devotees after reaching Sarva darshan entrance, then they will be moved to locked complexes.here they need wait 3-5 hours depends on the rush at tirumala.this darshan will take lots of time when compared with all other darshan in Tirumala.

Darshan Time: 5-7 Hours
Darshan Token: No Need

Divya Darshan(devotees By walk from Allipiri/Srivaari Steps)

this darshan newly introduced by TTD for pedestrians who reach Tirumala by Allipiri /Srivaari steps route.this darshan will take less time for darshan compares to Sarva Darshan.devotees should give fingerprint scan for darshan token.

Dress Code: Not Required
Darshan Time: 4-5 Hours(from Tirumala)
DarshanToken: Issues at Gali Gopuram viaAllipiri / Issues at 1200th step via Srivaari Steps

Seegra Darshan(Quick Darshan)

To get this darshan, the devotee should pay 300 rupees per ticket via online TTD website.Create profile an account and provide your photocopy and aadhaar card to book quick darshan tickets or any seva tickets.devotees should reach quick darshan entrance in report time which you have on ticket.it will take very less time and separate darshan queue.

VIP Break Darshan

This is darshan for VIP's only.Judges, govt.Higher officials, celebrities, MLA, MP, Ministers, TTD employees and their family members will come under this category.there are 3 types of VIP darshan.Other than VIP person can get this darshan by any MLA, MP, Minister or any VIP reference letters.Follow below link for more details. 

Special Darshan(Physically Handicapped or Senior Citizens)

TTD introduced this darshan facility for senior citizens and Physically disabled people concern.This service will be available in two different slots at 10 AM, and 3PM.they will be sent through special darshan queue.This darshan will take very very less time.One more benefit with
this darshan is another person(should be relative) can also be allowed along with senior citizen or handicapped.devotees should submit their certificates/ID proofs before 2 Hours of Darshan.Devotees who benefited this darshan will not avail again till 90 days.

Timings:10 am/3pm
Darshan Time: 2-3 Hours(from Tirumala)
Dress Code: Pancha/Dhoti with pajamas for Gents, saree/ half saree or churidar for ladies.

Special darshan/Infant Entry Darshan(parents with below 1-year child)

This darshan is only available for parents who want get darshan along with their below the 1-year old child.This darshan queue will be move with no more push pulls.TTD main aim with this darshan is child safety.Both father and mother will be allowed for this darshan.No more additional members are not allowed along with them.

Note: it is Better to carry birth certificate/any age proof of child.

Procedure To Apply VIP Break Darshan

  1. The letter should be submitted before 1 PM for next day darshan.otherwise will not be considered.
  2. A devotee should carry their any of one identity card copy and should provide an active mobile number.
  3. TTD reviews submitted letters and send back Confirmation SMS  if their Request is considered.
  4. A devotee should show this confirmation SMS and any govt. Issued ID card proof at MBC-34.
  5. Darshan Ticket non-transferable to others because of Biometric detection.
  6. The ticket will not be postponed to other times.pilgrim should be present in reporting time.
